Fundraising Letter

Dear Visitor,
We don't really need your money.
We're a rapidly emerging new political party here in Canada determined to reform elections so that poorer people get larger votes.
When you stop and consider the incredibly imbalanced distribution of wealth here and around the world, you will realize that we are one political movement with legs. It's really only a matter of time before we establish ourselves in the forefront of the political arena. Everywhere.
That's human evolution.
It may take years, it may take months; but one thing is certain - it will happen regardless of how little funding we get or how determined the opposition is to silence us or confusing the issue.
So why should you consider lending your support to the FCP? Three good reasons:
1. You'll be aligning yourself to a cause not only with the same goals and direction as yours; but also with a plan that's incredibly capable of accomplishing some very daunting tasks, uniting the many different organizations under one unified political front, and provoking a hysterical reaction from those who would rather not change.
2. You'll be part of a new vibrant and growing body of political thought; and encouraged to participate in the growth, debate, and realization of a historical epoch.
3. You're saying that you're not afraid of trying new and innovative solutions, and that you're one of the people who stand for a real and lasting change.
Now I've said this before, but it's worth repeating, all these amazing things will happen with the FCP. It's just inevitable that this ethical vote scaling idea will shape our world for many years to come; so why should you do anything? The answer is simple: Time.
Are you willing to watch everything continually get worse as the FCP builds, or do you care enough about our environment, our society, and our children to compel you to do something now for the FCP? The premise behind giving larger votes to poorer people is that by all of us making small and fair sacrifices we all benefit tenfold. Now we're asking you to make a small sacrifice and pledge your support to us. In return, for every ten dollars we receive we'll give you a one dollar voucher to use towards any item in our store: books, buttons, clothing, postcards, video's. Show you care and wear the FCP proudly. Just imagine the lively conversations you'll get when people ask you what we represent.
The current conditions are fertile ground for this gentle revolution - your dollars are like water that will make it bloom.
