Lorraine Cote, The Write Touch
I am Lorraine Cote, a dynamic freelance writer/editor and owner of The Write Touch, freelance writing/editing/admin services.
(Lorraine Cote was involved in the production of our press release, and one of the first freelance writers whom I used to help prepare material. The success that I had with her encouraged me to really start going for it and tapping into the pool of talent out there in cyberland. Without this first fantastic partnership I don't know if the FCP would be where it is now.)

Todd D. Epp Law Office, Prof. LLC., Winning Performances
Local TV news is a competitive, dog-eat-dog world. And that’s just inside your own newsroom! Getting the ear of your news director, executive producer, or producer for constructive feedback can be difficult. They have a newsroom to run, shows to produce. But you want to improve because you are a professional. And you are ambitious.
(Todd helped out with the op-ed piece, the film proposal, and continues to help with a lot of the queries and other letters we use to correspond with the media. He's been awesome at conveying the ideas of the FCP in a format that the media understands, he's easy to work with, and he's got a great big heart!) |

| Robert Buckland, The Business of Words
It's not fair, perhaps, that a spot of ketchup on a tie or dress should make a poor impression, but it does. In business communications, in academic and technical literature, in creative writing, in the packaging of book ideas - language is our dress, our shirt, our suit, our tie. If we're less than fully familiar with that language, we may never see those stains and spots. We won't see them, but others will. Let's make sure that your every letter, technical manual, manuscript, promotion, paper, essay, thesis, story and film script goes out -- not just spotless, but beautifully tailored. And if you have an idea for a book, let's put new meaning into 'well pressed'. The Business of Words offers you reassurance and coaching in every area of language communication -- from the most modest business letter to the book-length story of a life. (As you can see, Robert adds a unique and effective style to all the work he does. Although his work for the FCP has been on a previous site and now integrated and dispersed all over this one, the personable touch found in a lot of our pages - welcome message, qualify test - is due to his input. Thanks Robert!) |
