End war! How many of us desire that goal? Certainly the unlucky civilians caught in the cross fire would like to end war. Certainly Mother Nature doesn't like to see bombs, chemicals, radiation, diseases, and murder scar her landscapes and make life intolerable for her inhabitants. Most soldiers, if given a viable alternative would like to end war - especially the ones killed and maimed by friendly fire. Farmers want an end to war. So do most businesspeople. Children have no need for war, and most people fighting war are children. Animals want to end war too, very much.
Who doesn't want to end war? Arms dealers, arms brokers; and perhaps a few politicians, and professional soldiers. You would think that with so many of us wanting to end war, and so few not; that we would be able to find a solution.
<<< WE CAN GET THERE FROM HERE! >>>
The Fair Choice Party is a brand new grassroots political party that promotes the idea of curving the size of votes so that poorer people get larger votes! If you believe, like we do, that poorer people more than anyone want an end to war, violence, and destruction; then this is the way to go. Who better ask for guidance, for leadership, for compassion; than the poorer people? Who better at finding a way to a non-violent solution than poorer people? Who needs war more, rich people or poorer people? If government was focused on resolving the issues facing poorer people, wouldn't that keep them occupied enough to avoid war? And wouldn't that make them more respected in their adversaries' eyes? How many poorer people would want to help fight a war against the Fair Choice?
And, if you think that poorer people actually want war, then we are doomed no matter what we do. No, it's the frustration, helplessness, and powerlessness that make the poorer people violent, not the other way around!
Not only that, but by giving the poorer silent majority the ability to have their say in who governs; we would also witness a decrease in crime, abuse, addiction, and dependency (ie. taxes!) - while seeing an increase in productivity, stewardship, peace of mind, and acceptance. Most wars a waged for profit, wouldn't the poorer underclass be able to find a way for us all to profit without it? An end to war could be just as simple as this just and fair way to share power. By permitting some people in society to strive for wealth and gain (insulation), while also granting those more interested in power and participation (votes) what they want; both kinds of wishes can be accommodated. And wouldn't rich people also want a peaceful solution so long as they knew they were free to make money? The FCP believes that with this vote scaling system in place a much more peaceful, co-operative, and joyous world awaits all of us.
