Corruption, it's gotten hold of everything worth anything. Corruption serves few and harms many. Communism, democracy, capitalism, and anarchy; are all very noble pursuits… until corruption takes hold. Corruption wreaks havoc on business deals, family bonds, the judicial system, political plans; and remains the number one obstacle in finding a lasting peace and a bright future.

Our founding fathers dreamt of a system where corruption is weeded out by the consensus of the people; but clearly things have gone quite astray. Corruption happens when an alliance is allowed to build between the wealthy and the powerful - and the people are kept ignorant and powerless. One look at the ballot and most of us would agree that we are living in a very corrupt system. Corruption begins, and ends with, violence - the motivating factor for us to accept it. This acceptance has saturated our media, academia, and politicians. The message is clear - accept corruption or be ostracized.

In the spirit of the 1776 Virginia Declaration of Rights, the Fair Choice Party once again promotes the idea of giving the people the power to insure a corrupt-free government. How? By curving the size of votes so that poorer people get larger votes! The FCP believes that it has found a real and practical way to put government back in the hands of the silenced majority. While still embracing the basic tenets of capitalism, democracy, and independence (in fact accentuating them!) the FCP will move us forward into a system whereby elections mean something, leaders listen, people recognize and accept each other, and corruption has a very difficult time getting a foothold.
